Moderator@steveAfter battling fiercely, the forces of Typhon have been pushed back and defeated.
In Chindius, there are reports that Queen Embla took a death fighting a Herald. Giving her life to critically wound the beast and force it to retreat, causing the enemy army to fall apart.
In Westerland, King MutT led his troops in a miraculous defense of his nation while being outnumbered. Rumors speak that a large and powerful Orc tribe came from the north to assist in this battle.
In Akeron, the dead have risen as stories circulate that an army of undead joined the defenders and defeated the Sea Serpents. Rumors fly as to the origin of the undead, some say they belong to Phylar, the Vampire on the Kings Closed Council. Other claim that it is the power of the Seer, reaching out from beyond the grave as he promised.
There are also stories coming from Hadrianus of a great victory of their own. During the fight, 3 Heralds and an army of fish like creature rose from the sea and fell upon Vita. The army of Falconcrest, waiting in researve quickly rushed to the cities aid. Some rumors say that during the battle, King Aleric captured the city and claimed it for his own. Others say that nature itself fought against Typhon and pushed the armies back into the sea.
OOG – In the wake of the battles, the monstrous creatures of Terath that have been working together for the past year seem to remember their distrust and enmity for each other. Over the next few weeks, the monsters of Terath return to how they were before Typhon’s Heralds called them to order.

Keymaster@herogoethFriends of HavenOur victory over The Father of Monsters has, at last, been achieved. As our eyes focus once more upon the future; we must seek ways to establish roads of peace and friendship with our neighbors. We must come to a common ground as to how to heal our wounded land.
As the sovereign ruler of the lands which were once known as the Barony of Southwatch, I have chosen to answer the call presented by General Zenobia of Verath. A few of Haven’s best will walk at my side, including Lord Talandar and his elite. I leave the care of my kingdom in the hands of Seneschal Celene of House Shin; naming her Regent of Haven in my absence.
The Kingdom of Haven kindly accepts the offer of protective alliance from King MutT of Westerland and King Aleric of Falconcrest. In recognition of such, I welcome Lord General Gilrandir Galathule of Falconcrest, and grant him the adjunct title – Lord Marshal pro tempore.
As the recognized and rightful ruler of the former realm of Southwatch, I extend my hand of friendship to the east. I offer a place of honor amongst my retinue to King Vestridt, commander of the territory which currently bears the name which my lands once held. Should you wish it, King Vestridt, I would welcome you and a select number of your chosen as representatives of our joined lands.
We look to the future.

Moderator@steveOOG – As the rulers of Terath prepare to leave for Verath, a number of proclamations are issued to prepare for their absence. Below are listed some of the proclamations issued before their departure.
I leave the Synod of Five to continue to govern Hadrianus in my stead. I give warning to any who would use our absence for devious purposes, King MutT and King Aleric have been commanded to protect Terath in our absence. I now publicly declare that I have left them full authority to do so within the borders of Hadrianus. To act as protectors and, if necessary, peacekeepers if they are called upon for aid by the Synod.
Embla Vanir
High Queen of Terath
In the wake of the destruction caused by the Father of Monsters, we prepare now to answer the call of the Emperor. With the absence of myself and my brothers, we appoint Gabriel Veda as the Steward pro tempore and announce that we grant authority to the Provisional Praetorian Guards to act within the borders of Chindius should they be called upon.Since the passing of Duke Vendracis, I have been acting as the Steward of the Broken City. In my place, I appoint High Lord Xefrom Venai of Flaconcrest as the Steward Ad Interim. High Lord Venai has worked tirelessly for the people of the King’s Lands, and Falconcrest has been a stalwart ally. I have no fears for the safety or prosperity of the City in under his guidance.
Maria Pretia, Sovereign Ambassador and Steward of The Broken City
Hector Pretia, Sovereign General
Eben Pretia, Sovereign Scholar
I appoint Lord Bort Bitterbeer to the position of Steward of Akeron with his duties in abeyance. The Closed Council will continue to govern in my stead and have full authority to act in my name and with my authority.May Akeron prosper,
Jezal Briseus

Moderator@steveTavern talk and stories are dominated by the departure of many of Terath’s rulers this past week. They meet outside of the Broken City, surrounded by the greatest of their warriors and most powerful of their mages. Surprising to all, King West of Ebrus was not present. In his place were Lady Vivian Marie Falion and Captain Kruek, and a small contingent of Black Knights.
As the sun rose, a large archway, seemingly made of glass materialized before them. General Zenobia approached the arch and tapped it thrice while whispering something that could not be heard.
A great flash of light burst from the Arch, leaving a shimmering curtain of magic. The High Queen was the first to move through, declaring they would return victorious. It took the better part of the morning for the entire host to move through. As the last soldier passed, General Zenobia turned to those assembled to watch and declared that the Arch would remain as a reminder. She also said that it was protected by order of the Emperor, and any who would approach take their lives into their own hands.
As she walked through the Arch, there was another flash of light and then all was still.

News from both the north and south of Terath speaks of great changes.
In the south, the following declaration has come from Akeron:
‘On the last day of April, 213, all writs issued by the government of Akeron will expire and become void. Any who desire to renew their writs must petition to do so. All inquiries must be directed to the Office of Vital Records. From this point forward, all new writs will expire after 1 year and must be renewed.’
From the North, many reports say that the waters over Ethlinspire have begun to recede. Along with this are reports that the Elves who were outside of their Kingdom have begun to gather in Chindius, preparing to return to their home.

Rumors circulate that the waters submerging Ethlinspire have receded, though the land has undergone significant changes. Reports say that the land along the Chindiam boarder is gone, leaving ocean in its place and effectively making Ethlinspire an island. There are also stories that the monsters of Typhon have gathered there, and now call the island their home.

Moderator@steveThe Winds of ChangeThe time for the Winds of Change has come and gone and to the surprise and relief of all, it seems that no one has been affected. While most of the inhabitants of Terath have put it out of their minds, there are those who still believe a change has come, though its effects are yet unknown.

Keymaster@herogoethAn announcement has been made about a grand gathering being held within The King’s Lands. Ambassadors, military officers, and nobles from all corners of Terath are gathering in The Broken City to honor those who gave their lives in the war against Typhon – The Father of Monsters.
High ceremony will be displayed to mourn the loss of the former Steward of Rhoum, Duke Christopher Vendracis, and every soldier who fell on the battlefield at his side. The current Steward of Rhoum, High Lord Xefrom Venai, will be holding open political discussions as well as private meetings with representatives and leaders from nearly every kingdom.
Members of the Circle of Ten will be in attendance as well, meeting to discuss strategies and contingencies should Typhon ever return from the depths to threaten Terath again.

As reports of Demonic forces preparing an assault spreads throughout Terath, the common people have begun to fear for their future. With the absence of the rulers of Terath and their armies, the only military forces left to keep the peace are spread thin. Though the no one doubts the conviction of Falconcrest and Westerland, they worry that the Demonic forces may prove to great to push back.
With the average soldier not being able to defeat a troll, the thought of fighting abyssal horrors strikes fear into the bravest of hearts. To add to the uncertainty, though Typhon has retreated and his Heralds have been defeated there are still large groups of monsters left wandering Terath.

Localized reports of demonic attacks are being reported throughout all of Terath. Circles of Life which had become corrupted were somehow altered to serve as gateways for horrid abyssal creatures. In the dead of the night, great swarms of demonic imps and dangerous abyssal gargoyle soldiers poured from The Circles of Life in all of the capital cities of Terath. While the fighting was desperate, nearly every city received aid from an expected source; contingents of ghouls, wraiths, and skeletons which also fought alongside the living against the demons.
The fighting was most severe in the Broken City at the heart of The King’s Lands. The number of demonic creatures threatened to overwhelm and destroy the residents of the city. Rumors claim that forces from Falconcrest, led by King Aleric Falconcrest, fought bitterly in defense of the people. At a crucial moment, the demonic portals were sealed shut, turning the tide of the battle.
The Steward of Rhoum, High Lord Xefrom Venai, has claimed that this fortuitous turn was a result of the defeat of the Demon Lord which had commanded the invasion. Indeed, rumor has it that this powerful demon was utterly destroyed that same night by a powerful band of adventurers from the town of Falconguard; a town which now lies in ruin as a consequence of this mighty conflict.

Word has spread detailing the rise of an immensely powerful Wizard known as Panaerus Shale who has recently claimed a large swath of territory within the boundaries of EthlinSpire. Rumors claim that this Wizard has used sorcery and incredible martial prowess to defeat and subjugate over a hundred of the roaming monsters which once served Typhon.
There are many who celebrate the Wizard’s triumph over these dangerous creatures, and yet reports from The King’s Lands suggest that Wizard Shale’s intentions may be dubious at best. According to scholars within the capital, Panaerus Shale was cast out of The Broken City shortly after the War of Kings when his plot to steal magical artifacts from the royal vault was uncovered and thwarted.

A collective sigh of relief can be heard echoing from the Broken City as the renowned and beloved hero of the King’s Lands, Lord Knight Jacen Yabesh, has returned.
Rumors claim that the Lord Knight had been captured by abyssal servitors in the midst of the campaign against Typhon, which inevitably led to the obliteration of Duke Christopher Vendracis as the duke stepped forward to lead the armies in Jacen’s place.
Although the current standing military is a pale shadow of the forces which had been rallied to fight against the horde which served The Father of Monsters, the Steward of Rhoum, High Lord Venai, has restored leadership of the armies of The King’s Lands to Lord Knight Yabesh,
Jacen’s first official act upon returning to his duties has been to initiate a personal tour of The King’s Lands; evaluating the damage done during the last war, measuring the potential strength of the kingdom’s militia, and individually thanking those men and women which fought to protect these lands.

Rumors have begun to circulate about a village in Chindius that has been utterly destroyed. Town Criers and wandering bards claim that the destruction occurred in dead of night on the 12th of June; leaving nothing but ash and rubble where the village once stood. It is also said that this town was the location of a small magical shrine, the exact nature of which appears to have been somewhat secretive.
Most claim that this shrine housed the armaments of a long dead hero, and protected them with an unbreakable magical barrier. Though, alternatively, there are those that say the shrine granted the residents of the town health and long life. Some even claim that the shrine protected the town from monsters, as proven by the town’s safety and security throughout the entirety of Typhon’s Invasion. Despite the differing claims, all stories agree that the shrine was not amongst the ashes of the town, but was rather wholly and completely missing from the rubble.
Only two members of the town passed through the circle of life, and they had no memories which could explain the destruction of their homes.

News has come of a small gathering of White Knights in the Broken City, organized by the recently returned Lord Knight Jacen Yabesh. It appears that a small military strike force formed primarily of brave Light Walkers from many different kingdoms is preparing to welcome volunteers from all corners of Terath to venture across the channel into the flooded realms of Ethlinspire, as made apparent by the following decree, announced during the gathering.
The noble and worthy kingdoms of Terath have suffered many dark days during these past years, and have taken grievous injuries. Yet it seems that we have, at last, earned ourselves a moment of respite during which can recover and rebuild. However, our greatest mages and mightiest warriors have nearly all been called away to Verath, and there are still grave dangers here at home which threaten our safety. As we write these words, many of the fierce beasts which served The Father of Monsters continue to assault our wounded elven allies in what remains of Ethlinspire. And so we prepare to cross the waters which now separate us from them, and offer whatever protection we can. All those willing to lend their aid to the Ethlin people in their time of need; I ask that you heed our call. Join us as we march.
Rumors indicate that Albion May of Chindius was present during the gathering as well, standing in as a representative of the Terathian Vigil. He is said to have brought forth concerns regarding the recent destruction of a village in Chindius, but no signs were able to confirm that this destruction was related to any of Typhon’s servants.

The Royal Palace within The Broken City is astir with rumors that someone has successfully broken into the Great Vault of Rhoum, and stolen some of the ancient treasures that laid under heavy ritual protections. City guards are on careful watch as a quiet search appears to be taking place throughout the city, but specific word about what was taken can only be speculated.

Tavern talk has been dominated by reports that a town in Ebrus has been utterly destroyed. The destruction occurred in dead of night on the 1st of July; leaving nothing but ash and rubble where the village once stood. Located on the northern boarder of the Ruins of Ku’Vahl, it is said an accomplished and wealthy Shadow built a tower in the town with the intent of retiring there.
Making his fortune from expeditions into the Ruins of Ku’Vahl, there are rumors that he had many unique and powerful items. The reports all indicate that the tower was at the center of the destruction, and that after searching the rubble no items could be found.
Only 3 members of the town passed through the circle, and they have no memory of the destruction that occured. There are conflicting reports about if the Shadow came through the circle or not.
