Hello my Mothers, Fathers, Uncles, and Aunts!

As most of you already know, your group has obtained a relic related to the Echo Trees which was made by the old elven shapers, the “Sculptors of The Echo Forest”. This relic is a tap of sorts, perhaps inspired by the taps that one might use to harvest sap from a maple tree. When used to tap an Echo Tree by a group of three to seven people, this relic will allow the group to speak of a location in Terath where the raw Echo Sap will accumulate.

It seems that our family, for the most part, has voted to distribute the sap to the Druids of The Arcadian Grove, targeting the facility they have established on the edge of the SkyWood Grove in southern Falconcrest. All that is left is for us to open the portal in a few days, and seek out the withered Echo Tree.

Of course, the relic also has another property, which allows the 3-7 folks to activate it to summon forth a new magical land within the Echo Forest. The shape/nature of this land will be determined, at least partially, by the expressed desires of those who activate the relic.

Well, I have experienced something akin to a foretelling, thanks to my Gifts of Foresight which we awakened together. It seems that when you activate the item, you will also have the option of using some of my own personal power to help with your exploration of the Echo Forest, power which I would gladly lend to the purpose. Because you already chose to link my essence to the Echo Forest Portal, I believe that if my own magical power is invested into the Echo Tree at the same time that you activate the Tap, then I will be able to essentially follow the river of power (the leylines in the magical landscape) and then I’ll be able to open a portal directly there next time we enter the Echo Forest. The only cost would be that I’d be pretty exhausted afterwards, meaning that I’d likely not be able to grant as many protective boons for a little while, and probably would only minimally be able to use my Gifts (Foresight, Farsight, Homeward Ruin, and so on) for at least a month or two.

The choice is yours. I’m excited to see what you decide!

        Hello again, my family!

I have wonderful news to share. Following your recent decision to invest the power of the Great Willow’Whisper Orb into me, I have been able to locate a second Echo Tree.

As a fun bonus benefit, I believe that I’ll be able to open a portal into the StormWood section of the Echo Forest tomorrow, and I should be able to provide some kind of curse-resistant shielding to a great many of you.

What’s more, my vision in the Ruins of Ku’Vahl has begun to return, but I’ve unexpectedly still retained some of my temporary magical scrying senses within the Echo Forest, although it is very foggy. If we can find a way to enhance that somehow, I might even be able to map out the Echo Forest for you.

Anyway, get ready for travelling into the StormWood to seek out that Echo Tree. By this same time tomorrow night, I’m hoping that you’ll have tapped it. I hope you’ve decided where you want to send the raw sap, and that you’ve come up with an idea of the next new magical land you’d like to create within the forest.

Dress for windy weather, I guess, because the StormWood didn’t get it’s name for nothing. It sounds like Woooosshhhhh, Wishhhhh, Woooooshhhh. Rumble, Rumble.

Can you hear it? The sound of the wind?
