Keymaster@jolarHey Everyone!
Here we go! I have a new set of books out just in time for Winterfest. The Core Rule Book has the most changes but none of them are complete game changing rules.
I advise everyone to look through the rules/skill/class/crafts you have. I have a line by line for the core rule book, but only put in a theme change for the other 2.
Here are the new links:
CORE RULE BOOK UPDATES
Page 13 – Terath Map has been revamped, the Lairroth map has been removed. We plan on removing more of the Lairroth details from the core rule book in the future and rely on world library to hold its details. This is to focus new players more on Terath as the location for character histories.
Page 21 – Detect Magic update. Detect magic level 1 spells will identify the presents of temporary spells or Infusions. If either effect are on the target of the Detect Magic spell, it will return “Level 1 Magic” as a response. This will require a ‘Identify’ Spell to decipher it’s nature.
Page 36 – Negate Magic. Infusions are included in Negate Magic’s disruptions.
Page 40 – Identify. Added the same Infusion language as above.
Page 43 – Force Fortitude. Couple changes, the name was changed to Force Fortitude to help differentiate from Fortification Buff. This ability has been empowered to increase its duration to 10 seconds of protection, instead of only one hit.
Page 45 – Hunker Down. The fifth level ability for this utility has been changed from ‘Innate Grant Wellbeing’ to ‘Force Fortitude’. This is a more fitting ability and was not in the system when Hunker Down was created.
Page 51 – Dire keyword. Just cleaned up the language a little.
Page 51 – Disappear. The Dazed side effect of the disappear skill has been reduced to 5 minutes. This is to line up this effect with all our other timers. The same will be done with warlocks taboo daze effect.
Page 55 – Drain Life Poison. Added and cleaned up the language, this is not a necromantic ability anymore.
Page 65 – Installing Traps. Language about install traps was forgotten in previous versions. I has been added.
Page 82 – Weapon Chart. Adam’s new weapon standards and chart are in the book now.
Page 84 – Armor Chart. Adam’s new armor standards and chart are in the book now.
Page 93 – Drain Life. Added language about drain life
Page 100 – Mythic Realms Weaver. This has been updated with the newest version.
BOOK OF HEROES UPDATES
Bards were updated – Bardic Empowerment, and Bardic Inspiration was tweaked based on feedback.
Scoundrel – Lucky token language updated as well as Logistics base buffs. Level 3 Luck action was reduced from 1 gold to 2 silver and de-powered a bit.
Witch / Warlock – Daze reduced to 5 minutes
Wizards – They received the most changes. Level 2 hot swap is now a choice and price was reduced. Level 3 force addition was reduced and pulled in line with level 1 force addition. Skill added to level 3, and ritual magic ability language was updated for new ritual magic keywords.
I will try to get a hold of all active players with a wizard and finish updates before winterfest.
BOOK OF SECRETS UPDATES
Lots of small language updates throughout the book. Could expertise groups were missing some rolls. Please review your craft for these.
I changed the order of Infusion and Ritual’s Research / Proficiency to reflect how we intend you to progress (There was some confusion).
Ritual Playtest has changed, there is only a daily bonus to your diversity as you progress and you can only select from tier one spells. Sorry wizards you don’t benefit as much from this. Please review if you cast rituals.
Thank you everyone for all your feedback and patience. Please email me with any questions.

Participant@zanDo logistic infusions come back 5 min after Negate Magic or do they need to be redone?

Any infusions are lost when hit with Negate Magic. Also do note that you cannot access any magical items or artificing items while negated.Negate Magic – This spell negates all spells and magical effects on a target, their gear, and makes them unable to use any magic for 5 minutes. […] It also ends all level 1 spells and infusions, suppresses any level 3 spells and prevents the target from activating any items (magic or mundane) for duration of the effect.
@kaine-tharth
We have removed Larroth map and will soon remove any mention of Larroth in the Core Rulebook and direct them to the World Library for that information. See Gomez’s comment…
