Q3 Staff Positions Availability

We are looking for some more Staff members and hoping to get to fill them sooner or later. If you mark that you need time to think we’ll be patient.

These positions are available. Details on each in the posts below. Ask any question, you’d like!

Personally, I enjoy being on Staff because it’s so fulfilling to work with a diversity talented creators and logisticians to bring the fantastical worlds of Mythic Realms to life!

Marley,

I am certainly interested in being the Player Emissary.
I think I get on well with most if not all of our players, and communicate to/with them regularly about a variety of things.
I make an effort to be at every event (though emergencies happen).
Mostly I have a vested interest in seeing our players happy, and to hear them unhappy about this or that makes me regret I have no official capacity to help them other then “well, go talk to that person”.

Player Emissary duties
Welcome new players to the game and provide assistance with basic questions and introductions.
Maintain contact data for player base and reach out to players who have not participated recently.
Address concerns of existing players and act as the primary point of contact for player retention and reconciliation efforts.
Make it known that you are available to handle matters related to harassment, bullying, criminal activity, or other Code of Conduct violations.
Seek resolution to those matters with the Staff Director and others who warrant involvement.
Assist Staff Director with collection, tracking, and digitization of player waivers.
Keep tabs on the monthly debt list and reach out to those with excessive debt to work out payment plans, working with Financial Director.
Maintain a feel for the general “pulse of the community” and bring concerns or questions to Staff in a timely manner.

Financial duties
Budgeting is the primary role. Secondary is cash handling (like depositing at banks and sending people money via PayPal type stuff).
