Orthia will slide a blank paper away from Sonya’s stack and pull out a pen. Taking a deep breath she will begin to write. A few moments later she will stand and post the paper just below Sonya’s.

      Quote:
The Ancestral Queen will nod firmly, and take a deep breath, turning back towards the other ancestors as she waves her hand over the fire once more. The flames will briefly glimmer with silver and blue light, and dancing within them will be a vision of a sacred pool of water. This majestic font is easily recognizable as the cleansing pool which rests at the heart of the spiritualist island ((Pina Colada Island)), and the fine thin crack which was recently caused by Allerion’s Rebirth can be seen there as well.

Isme Pretia speaks to the Ancestors with purpose in her voice, “The Chain Breaker’s sister will help him find his own way, but this place offer’s a great leap down the path of recovery. In this place of spirits and of cleansing, The Chain Breaker’s madness can be washed away.” The flames will ripple and dance, showing a large circular mirror which has been enchanted with great Avothian light. Within this mirror are shown the reflections of two men; Thrull & Faigan, standing side by side. In this vision, Faigan will grasp the mirror, and will suddenly plunge it into the cleansing pool. The sacred pool of water will hiss and steam, and a slight outline of silver light will seem to cover everything for a moment.

The Queen turns to Orthia one last time, speaking softly. “If done properly, we will strike down two birds with one stone. The silver Avothian torch which burned for so long has left a shadow of it’s power on Faigan. If he can harness it, then he may be able to pour it into the mirror and create a mighty weapon that can be used against The Pale Shadows. But this is not done without risk. If The Chain Breaker chooses to cleanse himself this way, he will be given the opportunity for a chance to wash himself clean completely, but in doing so you may all have to face much of the rage and darkness which stains him.”

Sitting back down Orthia will take a drink from her bottle. “As with much of what we do there is a risk, but I think it will be worth it to all. Even if you are not in it to help my brother.”

So quiet for so long, Xukkuth will stand from his seat.

“Madness is so easy a pool to plunge into, but it figures, with some difficulty, one could plunge out of it. Good luck, save our brother and save the world – the stars are watching. Truly, Cyrillia unites us all. Until we meet again.”

With a short bow, the dark elf will depart from the tavern.

A gentleman of middle years will enter the tavern, nodding pleasantly towards the gathered adventurers. His fingertips are slightly discolored from tinkering with various alchemical combinations, and he carries a large satchel at his side which bulges with medicinal tools and components.

The man adjusts his spectacles as he addresses the crowd, “Most of you know me relatively well. For those of you who do not, my name is Albion May, and I am a member of The Terathian Vigil. I came to check in on your progress, and to see if there were any questions I might be able to answer.”

Albion takes a few moments to glance over the various posted notes and prophecies, and then raises his eyebrows towards Orthia.

“You had a vision of our beloved Queen? Truly?”

Before Orthia can answer, Albion May glances over the writings again and then a spark of insight seems to flash in his eyes. “Two birds with one stone, eh? No. Perhaps three birds, if I read this correctly.”

Albion May turns towards Sonya as he continues. “This island, in the vision. Isn’t it the one that you told Thrull to go to? The island with the mystic pool? You told him to go there and enchant the mirror shield.”

Albion’s eyes flit back towards the written prophecy again, as if taking extra care to be certain. “Thrull has been there for days, preparing the enchantment. In less than two days, Thrull, Westmir, and Talandar will have completed the Avothian Light enchantment, and we will be ready to make our move against The Pale Shadows.”

Sonya glances up at the man when he enters. She rubs hers temples briefly and leans back in her chair, taking a break from her current work. When Albion looks to her she nods.

“Dah, that was the plan anyway. I hope he has been there. Do you know what our plan of attack is?”

Albion May will nod in response to Sonya. “The plan was to do little more than investigate. We know that there is some kind of facility that the Pale Legion is using to empower the Pale Shadows, but we don’t know how. Our current goal is just to discover the specifics of the Pale Legion operations. This is a scouting mission. We have been empowering the Mirror Shield in order to grant you a good chance of surviving any potential attack by the Pale Shadows while you are in their territory.”

The Master Artisan will pause, briefly glancing around the room in search for member of The Cards team. “Lord Talandar has recently received information from The Cards, which he is personally taking action on. As I understand it, the information pertained to the Pale Shadows, but for some reason, this led Lord Talandar to seek out Allerion, The Dragon Rider.”

Albion May shrugs, moving further along down the wall as he examines the writings. “This vision of Faigan with the Mirror Shield is interesting. The images seem to suggest that he can use the power of the mirror to cleanse himself, which may somehow further empower the shield in turn. Is that right?”

Orthia will nod at Albion, “Yes that is what Ancestor Isme talked about in the gathering. That some of his madness comes from the fact that he spent so long under the Avothian light. I am hoping he will be clear enough to take the chance to cleanse this of him. Gypsies do not force, they help guide and options must be given. The letter I received from Faigan was not clear and I don’t know if he understood mine.” Orthia will sigh and take a long drink from her bottle of wine.

Standing Orthia will pull a sheet of paper from her bag and stand up and post it on the vast collection of papers.

                Quote:
Per Lord Nabler’s orders, I am documenting this journey for future analysis. I have been on the road for 6 days now. Lord Philar and Nabler have asked that I follow up on the lead form one of their informants concerning a vampire named Veristoph. Apparently, Lord Philar encountered him in the past and wants to verify if he has returned. I do now know why Lord Philar is so concerned, but I am not foolish enough to dismiss that bit of information. If Philar is concerned, it cannot be good.

I have tracked Veristoph into the mountains north of Kuv’Ahl. While moving through Westerland, I stumbled across reports of an item that can be used to restrain a Vampire. Curious, I briefly investigated as such an item may be useful if I encounter Veristoph (and honestly I would prefer it be in my hands so I know where it is at all times). Unfortunately, it was guarded by powerful golems that I cannot defeat alone. I will leave the item for now, perhaps in the future I will be able to return and claim it.

Verestoph is always one step ahead. I think I have him, and then he vanishes like fog in the rising sun. In his arrogance though, he is getting careless. I found a smoldering fire where he attempted to burn some documents. Most were beyond recovery, but a few had enough information that I know where to go next. If I can find this Black Cathedral before he does, I may be able to get close enough to measure his strength. I don’t know if I am the stronger, but my orders are clear, if I can’t learn his motives I am to remove him from the board.

I have been wrong. I couldn’t possible comprehend the beauty of the Black Cathedral when my eyes first beheld it. But after learning the Truth, I know what I must do. Philar and Nabler are fools. Infants kicking and screaming at a world they know is coming. I will prepare the way, and I will shape the world. As the prophecies have foretold, the vaunted Kingdom of the Night will fall, and the Dracolich will serve the true masters.

I found the Mummy hiding place. It’s only a matter of time now.

Curse that Mummy back to the desert. My ambush failed and she fled, I grew careless, overconfident of my abilities. She is the only one who knows the location of the Dracolich. If only I could show her the Black Cathedral, I am sure she would find the Truth, just as I did.

I have found the perfect tools. A skeletal knight that hates the living, and a BAron that hates the dead. It should be a simple matter to incite Nargol and Veracyte to fight each other. I returned to the exciled Black Knights, and they service me now. Once I have enough troops, I will send the nightwalkers to attack Kuv’Ahl and the undead to attack Westerland.

The adventurers of Northwatch are starting to become annoying. I went out of my way to have Nargols fool son killed, but their interference has caused the old Baron to hold off on formally declaring hostilities. I think using Veracyte is an appropriate next step.

Dragons End if no more, I have seen to that and ensured Veracyte’s minions are in the area. The adventures are fool enough to believe they are important enough to warrant his direct attention. Once they attack, Veracyte won’t hold back and will need to vent his rage. I will ensure his troops get pointed toward Nargol.

Orthia will sit back down, “this is the notes we found in Westerland so everyone can read over them.”

The Master Artisan will listen closely to Orthia and then ask in response. “Has anyone contacted Faigan, to make sure he will join you on the island? I do not see him here.”

He takes a long look over the Westerland notes as he speaks. “Peace talks between Westerland and The Kingdom of The Night will begin soon, but I doubt these issues will be resolved overnight. Westerland and The Kingdom of The Night were both fooled by Verastoph’s apprentice, but Westerland only acted defensively, while the Kingdom of The Night chose to start a wholesale slaughter. I cannot imagine that King MutT and Baron Nargol will simply accept an apology and move on.”

“But regardless, at least they have stopped fighting.” Albion May will adjust his glasses, saying, “Things are better in the West, certainly, and there will soon be a great battle in the south. I wonder at the fate of Myzentius and Hadrianus in the East, however.”

With that said, Albion May will ponder over Karkarov’s Map for a moment, and then turn to find him.” Karkarov, you’ve made some interesting markings here. Would you kindly explain them to me, please?”

Albion May will nod, clearly distracted by his own thoughts.

“Well, I suppose there a few final things that must be coordinated. I must take my leave.”

“It is my understanding that Westmir or Thrull will be meeting you here in town, and casting a Group Recall to bring you all to the Island once everything has been prepared.”

Taking a brief moment to nod acknowledgement to Silmarwen, the Master Artisan will make his way out of the tavern.

There is a note from Ferris somewhere on the tavern.

                          Quote:
When I died last night, I saw a vision of a couple things with reference to that Scroll making sanctum.

First, I saw that the Sanctum was created by one of the Pale Ones. As you guys may not have heard, the device itself was designed to be able to safely Split and recombine one of the Pale Shadows in order to be able to more effectively use their forces. It is pretty tough stuff, so this was very unique.

Second, but more important, I saw a group of Elemental Troggs that stayed at the Sanctum for a short period of time, and as I looked at both the Sanctum itself and the visions I have seen, I have realized that there is a second, Runic Sanctum. I am not sure where, but they do have one.

Not sure how it helps, but I feel like it was important.

Lanre will look over to Faigan with a grin.“There is some blackberry pie left, and there is a heavy supply of sausage and cheese. Not to mention, I believe that Lord Bitterbeer had some fresh brown bread delivered yesterday. The heavy stuff, which is my personal favorite.” As he speaks, the cartographer will gesture towards the kitchen. “There’s also some milk and oatmeal back there as well. Lord Bitterbeer owns the Tavern, and he trusts us to pay for what we take when his hirelings are absent.”

Lanre turns his grin towards the others. “The Niece of The Goblins is ours, my friends. One more of Godfrey’s seven items has been claimed. That’s either five or six, I believe. Does anyone have the exact count?”

Ferris, who is eating breakfast in a corner and writing something on a piece of parchment

Faigan handed me the Neice of the Goblin, last night, so people know. We were a little circumspect about it in prying eyes were looking into us.

Ferris finishes his writing and pins it to a beam, it reads as follows

In Case anyone is interested, I have recently discovered a new type of weapon that I can make that may help some of your factions. With the Pale Legion advancing and more undead showing up in greater numbers, I think it may help us or any of our “special contacts” fight. Here are the details of the weapon

                                Name: Bright Weapon
Descriptions: At all times, this is a +1 Silver Weapon. When using Strikes with this weapon, the wielder may choose to use their strikes with silver damage or with Cleanse damage. If they choose Cleanse then the existing damage type is overridden, becoming Cleanse damage, and gaining +2 Cleanse Damage when using 3 swings or +4 Cleanse Damage when using 1 swing. Additionally, DeathBlow can be delivered with Cleanse Damage at will, but not regular Killing Blow.

My Cost to Make the Item: 5 Silver Coins, 1 Adamantium, 1 Cleansing Light Spell Page, and coin cost based on length of time you want it to last: 160 cp (8-months), 320 cp (14-months), 480 cp (26-months)

If they have a sufficiently Skilled smith, I am willing to collaborate with them and see if I can either impart my wisdom or supply them with a copy of the schema. Feel free to talk with me directly.

I am so very glad you asked Sonya.

Wizard Anairo will say as he emerges from the kitchen, popping a small bit of cheese into his mouth.

Also, Lord Bitterbeer seems to have run out of cheese. Now that you have 6 of the 7 items, you are ready to step on Godfry’s path.

Your first destination is where the Forsaken were imprisoned. Herromere’s Keep. The northernmost reaches of Moradrim, beyond the territory the Ice Giants have claimed. Westmir knows the way, he can see you to the right place.

The 7th item will be found along the path, but it’s exact location is hidden from my Sight. Looking into Herromere’s keep is…reckless at best.

Wizard Anairo will walk over to the numerous papers pinned on the wall, reading through them. As he does, he will occasionally nod and mutter to himself. Once or twice he will smile, and have the look of someone who knows a joke but will not share it.

A pity you gave away the ring, I would have liked to see how this fork played out. Too late now though. Anyway, I trust you will all do a fine job of locating the final item.

The Wizard will turn and head out of the tavern, speaking as he leaves

Be careful with the items. Godfry may have created them to fight the Pale Ones, but he had his own agenda. Always be wary of free power. Also, let Anton know I hoped he enjoyed himself, but I am afraid I will need to reclaim my wardrobe. I can happily refer him to my tailor if he wants though.

With that, he will exit the Tavern.
