Participant@rhawon-rhovanorRhawon walks in with a book full of papers and blank runes, he stops to read all of the posted notes. His eyes go wide as if a thought was briefly horrifying then turns to sit with his book.

Participant@jaercKarkarov will fold his arms as he listens to the distracted scholars, “hmmming”, and nodding on occasion.[/i]
“If Sir Veracyte has the forces enough to attack Westerland meaningfully, why does he not deploy against the Pale Legion. Who is this jerk?”

Participant@j_talA shadowed J’Tal enters from a side passage. With a few glances around the room, he moves to the posted notes and reads the contents. Without a word, he casually moves to a corner of the room and with his back to the wall, watches the exchanged conversations of the occupants with mild interest.

Participant@bbraithA little sillouette’a of a man appears and then the shadows fall to the ground like shards of broken glass, the last ones catch the breeze and flit away like ashey paper. Oni stands very close to the map of active battles.
“Does anyone else notice a pattern of active battle sites. One major battle site in each of the regions with 2 minor battle sites on each side?”
Oni rocks heel to toe on the balls of his feet, trying to determine patterns and shapes.

Participant@stormStorm dread her attention away from her thoughts and the various conversions that she has been listening to and stands. She stretches before walking over to the belly posted things and reads them.
Once she is done she will grab herself a drink before moving to a free table. She puts her ferry up and lens back closes her eyes. She resumed thinking ad well as listening.
September 25, 2014 at 7:30 pm #50594Xukkuth d’ Barra
Participant@xukkuthIn response to Sonya’s inquiry, Xukkuth will appear genuinely puzzled for a moment.
“Verastoph…hmm, truth be told, the name isn’t ringing a bell, however a name is so much like a scent; it gives me something to go on. If you would like, I can consult my close circle of friends and see what turns up.”
Turning to Lanre, Xukkuth listens intently to his summarized tale of the adventurers of Northwatch being veritably mugged by Ghouls from a member of the Kingdom of the Night (Sir Veracyte). Xukkuth’s eyes seem to flash to silver draconic slits for a moment as his face contorts in anger at the revelation. As quickly as his rage flared up, it is gone, replaced by a solemn expression.
“Such a thing should never happen again – you all must not fear anyone in pursuit of your goals, for none are more important than Northwatch. It is my belief that the Kingdom of the Night is beginning to lose control of its own membership. It was a flexibly entity to begin with – not even really meeting the standards necessary to be referred to as an “organization”, much less a “kingdom”. As the war with the Pale Legion ramps up, I expect many from the Kingdom of the Night will begin to ally themselves with the Xknocktu. The Pale Legion will offer power in the form of gifts of necrotic and abyssal strength. Furthermore, they will offer the lie of survival to those who betray Cyrillia herself and fight for them. Beware cowards and those who lust for power for they will show their quality as the dark tide falls across our homes.”

Participant@rhawon-rhovanorAt Xukkuth’s words Rhawon speaks up ” So it is possible the pale legion offered this Vampire power for service? I do have to wonder if this creature is empowered by the legion or the legendary door in some manner. I still can not connect the dots of why he is buying up Shadowform scrolls and basic runes, other then what I have mentioned all ready.”

Participant@jaercAfter a long moment of throught and a few of sitting and furiously scribbling, Karkarov also adds to the wall, grumbling loudly but indistinctly about “draft”, and “October”, and “damn undead.”
The herald of the Windward Lanterns then steps to the tavern’s door and bellows out to Northwatch, hoping to summon her:
“Orthia!”

September 27, 2014 at 12:42 am #50597Talvair
Participant@talvairTalvair gets up from his seat and looks at the map.”They are in a nearly if not perfect triangle around Citadel. That’s there target.”
September 27, 2014 at 12:50 am #50598Talvair
Participant@talvair” no they will attack the north first. And gain a strong footing there. Then they will attack citadel.”
September 27, 2014 at 7:04 am #50842herogoeth
Keymaster@herogoethLanre will raise an eyebrow, leaning over towards his table to snatch his hat up. “That’s a good question, Rhawon. Could this Veristoff person be associated with the Vampire Lords in any way? Lord Philar, Lord Nabbler, and Lord Ooin are all household names in Akeron these days. Although few people have ever even seen Lord Nabbler.”
Twirling his hat in his hands, Lanre will speculate. “All three of them are rather… mecantile. I mean to say that they have always been merchants at heart. If the Pale Ones made them an offer that was enticing enough, perhaps they would be willing to jump ship. Maybe they already have. Do we know if they have been providing scrolls or runes to the Pale Legion?”
Turning toward Xukkuth, he will set his hat back upon his head. “Regarding The Kingdom of The Night, I personally think we need to tread carefully. Xukkuth, I agree that we shouldn’t let this Death Knight, Sir Veracyte, push us around. But is a bit of treasure really worth sowing discord during a time of war? That’s the question.”
September 27, 2014 at 10:32 pm #50850Valdimarr
Participant@valdimarrValdimarr will pause and look up from his work for a moment.
“Sir Veracyte is very militant and hates the living. The only reason he hasn’t started a campaign against us is because he has bigger problems at the moment: the Pale Ones. Make no mistake, the only reason he cooperates as much as he does, even though it’s not much, is so that he can gather more power without our interfering so that once the Pale War is over, he will be in a stronger position against us. He’s seen as an extremist even within the Kingdom of the Night and actively refers to Avric as his enemy. I understand bigger picture type stuff and I’m willing to compromise to avoid problems in the war, but there are other things we need to consider as well. We rarely ever talk about our plans once we succeed. I assume that we will succeed; that’s what we do. Where do we want to be positioned after this is over? How do we want to address the issues that will arise once our common enemy is gone? It’s the same problem Warwizard Talendar was talking about with the Skarren. If we do this right they’ll help us defeat the Pale Ones, but how do we handle them once the Pale Ones are gone? The Skarren were created for war; they have an inherent need for conflict. They’ll be a problem after the war is over as well. Just some things we need to consider and discuss…”
With that, Valdimarr will return to his painstaking review of the prophecies’ handwriting.
September 29, 2014 at 1:42 am #50599Travis Terry
Participant@devis-calhounDevis still looking over the prophecy. how meany of these do we know what there are referring to.
Devis walks over to Lanre. Lanre in simple terms. How big is Ku’Vahl. How much have you been in and explored.
September 29, 2014 at 7:03 am #50857herogoeth
Keymaster@herogoethLanre will shrug in response to the questions. “How big are the Ruins of Ku’Vahl? Massive. Two or three times as large as the greatest city in all of Terath.” He scratches his forehead, and hedges hesitantly “I’ve drawn some incredibly rough sketches of the ruins at large, but thoroughly explored? I don’t know. It’s hard to say, honestly. If I had to guess that I have explored and mapped less than a third of Kuh’Vahl.”
September 29, 2014 at 9:50 am #50600Becca
Participant@selphiebakaAs the rain pours down around the tavern the door opens, then with a flash of lightning the door opens and a drenched figure opens the door and steps in. “Terrible traveling weather huh?” Orthia will remove her cloak and drapes it over an empty chair. Pulling a large bottle of wine out of a pouch she will go sit next to Sonya. Orthia opens the bottle and takes a large drink from it.
Sighing softly she will pull a piece of paper out and slide it out in from of Sonya. “Things are about to get worst in westerland.”
The letter says the following:
I quickly realize that Lord General Shaw is working closely with a Lightwalker named Lord Baron Nargol. Lord Baron Nargol is a very militant noble, who believes that the kingdom of the night is a foul organization which needs to be wiped from the face of Cyrillia. I also learned that he is deeply trouble by the fact that his king is a black knight, but that he is unceasingly loyal to King MutT regardless. Thus far, he has helped General Shaw organize a defensive effort with assistance from The Argent Tide. Currently, there is absolutely no direct efforts from Westerland to attack The Kingdom of The Night. In fact, it seems that The Kingdom of The Night are the clear agressors here, and Westerland has only been defending itself.
Lord Baron Nargol will change that strategy soon, however. He is preparing elite strike teams of Westerland knights to raid KoTN strongholds in Ku’Vahl.
