Brandon
Participant@bbraithOni wanders the room looking at random things through the magnifying glass. The shadows crawl up his legs like snake enveloping his body, and he is gone.

Participant@grayYrui smugly smiles at Kakarov’s declaration
Thank you uncle. I can understand your concern for not being taken advantage of, Sibella, but you should be proud that your family had so sterling a reputation. Not all can make such claims.
Looking to the rest of the room…
Sibella is right. We can sit and quibble about who owns what trinkets, whatever their value or we can focus on the real issue of a danger facing our… Allies. I’ve heard stories of Daryoon being mind controlled in Rezport, none of them pleasant, so we know he is certainly not immune. I would hate to have to fight my favourite cheese loving wizard.
Yuri’s tone grows cold…
And while Xukkuth holds my sisters bond any harm to him she will feel. I will speak to Nikoli to see if he know’s Xukkuth’s whereabouts.

Keymaster@herogoethLanre will look up from his food for a moment, chuckle, and roll his eyes exaggeratedly. “Wow, Yuri, that was smoothly done.”
The cartographer will gesture with sarcastic emphasis. “You are right Yuri, no one should be quibbling about who owns my things. I like how your choice of words made it sound like you were magnanimously tabling an open issue, rather than attempting to subtly plant the idea that the ownership of my Dragon Ring was open for discussion. Bravo.”
Lanre will pluck his hat from his head, and reach for one of the baubles which swings back and forth across the brim. He takes into his hand an orb of clear crystal, and gazes into it with dramatic flair, clearly addressing the crowd. “Since my ring is currently in Sonya’s possession, how ’bout I burn one of my few remaining charges on this beauty and see if I can squeeze a few answers out of the universe?”
Lanre holds the small orb aloft, rolling it slowly in his hands in an odd pattern, and asks a single question. “What must be done to find Daryoon Anairo?”
March 31, 2015 at 5:44 am #50673Chelsea
Participant@chelseaSibella walks back into the Tavern and sees that Lanre appears to be interrogating his hat about Daryoons whereabouts.
Clearly no one noticed when she slipped out after Yuri addressed her…“I’ve sent a message to Silmarwen, hopefully she will have some answers regarding Daryoon.
I think it would also be wise to alert Xefrom and Averic as well.”Sibella returns to her corner table and takes another long drink for her bottle. Setting the bottle down, she will hastily writing another message.”

Participant@grayThank you Lanre! I would hate for somebody to get the impression that I cared about the ring.
With that he raises a bottle in toast to the wannabe bard
March 31, 2015 at 6:07 am #51956herogoeth
Keymaster@herogoethLanre will raise his eyebrows as he continues to peer into his divination orb, with a look of pleasant surprise. Moments later, he swings the orb back into its dangling place on his hat, and smiles toward Sibella.
“Well, that was one of the clearest responses that the orb has ever given. I’m pleased to say that I have an answer to my question.”
The wannabe bard smirks at Yuri, Karkarov, & Valdimarr before continuing on. “Beyond the Northern Wall, the Wizard wanders within a frozen maze. He walks the halls of a forsaken prison, with seven relics on his mind. He whispers secret words, and sees only the barest glimpse of the dangers that hunt him.”
Pausing for effect, Lanre reaches for a mug of water and takes a small sip. “I think we can all guess where Daryoon is.”
Lanre raises a hand sharply, as if to forestall any interruption of his moment in the spotlight. “That’s not all…not by half. To seek The Wizard and survive, the wielders of The Dragon Staff of Knowledge must venture forth alone. She who holds the staff must lead those who have been tested by it. Those few who have been chosen to wield Herromere’s wisdom must strike out for the frozen north. They must venture through the frostmar breach, and let the wisdom of a WarWizard be their only guide. They must go now, or not at all.”
March 31, 2015 at 6:16 am #50675Patrick
Participant@grayYuri looks at Lanre for a moment, absorbing the answer he was given, then looks to Sibella
Looks you’re going on a trip. Better pack some warm clothes, and a WarWizard.
March 31, 2015 at 6:22 am #50676Chelsea
Participant@chelseaSibella looks up from her table as Lanre continues to speak. Her eyes beginning to show anxiety as he finishes
Well… Sibella seems at a loss for words that is interesting news indeed…
I should go and find the others and inform them about what must be done. With that, Sibella will stand and hastily move toward the door

Keymaster@herogoeth“Or at least a WarWizard’s Wisdom. But hey, if you can bring a whole WarWizard instead of just their wisdom, I’d say go for it.” Lanre will grin like a cat. “Do you know where Frostmar Breach is?”
“I happen to have recently served as a guide in order to escort a group of adventurer’s to Herromere’s Keep, so I know the area pretty well. I could draw you a map.”
The cartographer tilts his head curiously, calling to Sibella as she moves towards the door. “I must admit that I’m a bit at a loss for the meaning behind the words, ‘She who holds the staff must lead those who have been tested by it.’ Has Herromere’s Staff been testing people?”
March 31, 2015 at 7:00 am #50677Patrick
Participant@grayShe was there when we last went to the Keep, but a map probably couldn’t hurt.
Looking after Sibella’s exit, he adds…
She would probably explain better, but the staff has … Asked to be held by others. Nadia, Westmir, I think I heard even Vladroff had it. It always returns to Sibella though.
As inanimate objects go, it has pretty good taste! he says with a smirk
March 31, 2015 at 7:07 am #50678Chelsea
Participant@chelseaSibella will turn and listen to Lanre, stopping short of the door
Thank you for the compliment, Yuri.
Well, if I am interpreting that correctly, yes. At times, I did feel the staff become curious about certain individuals., and the staff traveled between those people. One of the people it did go to was Westmir, so I was going to send him a message to see if he would possibly be able to accompany the journey.Sibella shifts uneasily. Clearly uncomfortable with this whole situation
Lanre, if you could draw a map to the Breach, I would sincerely appreciate your help.Sibella looks around the room again, her eyes full of anxiety and uncertainty. Eventually her eyes fall back on Lanre
And… You’re sure others are not allowed to come?

Keymaster@herogoeth“Westmir, did you say? Maybe he is the WarWizard’s Wisdom, seeing as how he is Talandar’s apprentice.” Lanre leans towards Valdimarr’s corner of the table and steals a blank piece of paper from his brother, beginning to hastily scrawl a map of the cold north. “I got the feeling that once you crossed the ice wall in Moradrim, you needed to be alone with ‘The Wielders of The Dragon Staff of Knowledge’. But that doesn’t mean that a group of adventurers couldn’t escort you to the wall itself. You’d just be on your own once you passed beyond it.”
The map that Lanre creates is made with absolutely no delicate artfulness. It is rather crude, with hasty lines drawn in an almost childlike hand. “Frostmar Breach is the name of a territory that is just on the other side of the Ice Wall. Once you pass through the break in the ice, you’ll have a relatively high chance of encountering Giants and Goliaths there, so you’ll need to be very careful.”
A few moments later, Lanre lightly blows on the wet ink, proceeds to waft it in the air, and holds the simple map out for Sibella to take. “That should get you past the worst of the pitfalls.”
OOG: Steve Campbell just let me know that he will talk about what happens beyond the wall at the open house on Wednesday.
March 31, 2015 at 7:36 am #50679Chelsea
Participant@chelseaSibella will take the map from Lanre and scan over it numerous times
Thank you, Lanre. Having assistance getting too the wall would be greatly appreciated. Beyond the wall, the others that were tested are able to come with me, correct? I won’t be entirely alone?

Keymaster@herogoethLanre will nod, confident in his response. “The divination orb said that she who holds the staff must lead those who have been tested by it, so definitely, yes.”
“And while I’d love to accompany you, I’m rather certain that you should only take those few, and no one else.”
The cartographer will scrape the last of his stew out of his bowl, and pick up after himself before standing and preparing to head back into the kitchen. “I’d be happy to go with you as far as the Ice Wall, if you’d like to have me come along.”
March 31, 2015 at 7:50 am #50680Chelsea
Participant@chelseaSibella nods, anxiety and fear rising behind her eyes
Yes, I would like you to come Lanre. I can read maps well, but having someone who knows the terrain would be beneficial.
Sibella’s eyes will scan the tavern one last time
If anyone else would be will to help us reach the wall, I would appreciate the help. I must gather my things are prepare.
With another slight nod of her head, Sibella will inhale a shaky breath, turn and leave the tavern

Participant@jaerc“Or, rather than letting the three most vulnerable members of my family, swing, by sending them to the grimest dungeons I’ve ever faced, where one of them has already died, on the word of a magic item…”
Karkarov will glare at the bard’s, glass bauble.
“We could, we should let Daryoon rot. Favorite or not, he is still a Dragon…with his own Warden.
Please do not go Sibella. Please do not encourage Vladroff nor Nadiya. I hate to see us play meatpuppets for Harrowmere and his fool of a cheese eating grandson. “
