    Zyra,

The Winds of Change are upon the land once again. These are, as always, tumultuous times. I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors, and I hope that you and your companions build and also survive lengedary challenges worthy of the songs. It was a pleasure speaking to you last night.

As requested, here are a few of the prophecies that I made a record of. They are old, so much of this may have already come to pass.

    The Edge of The Stones
From the Spring of 216 PB

The Winds bring the sound of tumbling stones, their edges like glass; blood and blade. The Winds bring focus, torn from pages of power. We may guard the secrets of the stones, but they will not stay guarded. The Winds will spread the Change like crystalline seeds of knowledge, augmenting all they touch, replacing the familiar with the unknown. It is an admixture of what has come before, and a glimpse of what we have made. It is a twist caused by our own meddling as we tinkered with the fate of the primordials.

    The Edge of The Wind
From the Spring of 216 PB

The Winds have come and gone. It has cut through the world like a blade through wine. It is as a behemoth, leaving tremors with its passing. Three silhouettes have stood on high and breathed into the Wind, sending their labors to ride the breeze, augmenting all that the Winds touch.

The Pilgrimage spreads, seeking visions from the twisting cold, seeking slivers of an utterance. And where have the Dragons gone? Surely they would intercede, from their own greed at least, if not out of altruism.

Cloudbursts have sent lightning to dance upon the Southron Sea, but other storms rise as well. Wolves of the tempest sprint towards dangerous heights, and the Father of Storms whispers no warnings, speaking only in sounds of thunder. Rain falls in the East, a ceaseless weeping, almost as if in answer to the sorrowful melody of the young musician. And a secret storm brews, in words rather than weather, Heralding an unseen struggle as a tangled web of fate trembles in the aftermath of the cutting.

The Winds have come and gone. And opportunities have arisen for those with great ambition, but few are those who will see the truth of what is possible. And what truth shall they see? Truth whispered. Truth twisted. Carrion-Eaters wetting their lips for a feast.

    Sibella R. Listrotov

On a personal note, I am rather certain at this point that this second prophecy referred to the old Pilgrimage of the Hadrian Mystery Cults (or Secret Societies, as some call them). And the final paragraph is definitely referring to the corruption of the Starfall Initiative, and how the primordial relics which they hoarded ended up twisting their minds.

    Zyra,
On my group outing last night the Rune Weilder Brandon, that we captured, was tearing out pages in a book when we came across him. Maybe that has some connection to the Stones prophecy? I think Valeron has the book and pages. Don’t know if that is related or not.

    Lanre,
I had a question for you. I am looking to get into cartography myself and I instantly thought of you. Would love to talk to you about it sometime. Let me know if you’re interested to chat. (OOG – Discord sometime?)

    Newell,

I’m not in Nothwatch very often, but I would certainly be happy to discuss the craft of cartography with you the next time that I visit. Just don’t let me forget.

    Until then,
